8/1/2005 - Uploaded a new image, Liberty Park, today. I was really happy with this one and enjoyed making it. Please take a moment to comment and let me know what you think.

7/24/2005 - I’ve been away from art for quite a long while now. Some unfortunate changes happened in my life, and I’ve been long in recovering. I have, however, uploaded a new image, and hope to begin creating new art once again. I’ve decided to change the structure of the site to offer all images for free, and do away with paid memberships, allowing everyone to enjoy my work. If you like what you see, please take the time to tell a friend, or a few friends, about my site.

10/21/2003 - It's been a while since I posted any new images. Unfortunately, I can't spend all my days working on my art. I was determined to get something finished for Halloween though, and am quite happy with the result. In addition, I threw together another image last night called Morning Departure and uploaded that today. I also hope to be able to do a Christmas image this year that I can add to the free gallery. We'll have to wait and see on that though. Look for new 2004 calendars coming soon, and an updated NC content CD soon after the new year. Thanks for all your support everyone! :)

6/5/2003 - I've decided to move the html site back to the old design. I find that it is much more straightforward and simpler to find your way around. In addition, it doesn't make it as hard to navigate if you're on 800x600 resolution. My repaired motherboard should be coming back in soon, so hopefully I'll be able to get a new image up in the next 2 or 3 weeks....assuming nothing else goes wrong with my new computer. :(

Interested yet? So you're probably wondering what in the world this is. Basically, you run this little script I give you. Then, your desktop updates each day (or however often you specify) with a new free Nightscape Creations image. In addition, you get a search engine, along with a few useful links built right into the upper right corner of your desktop. But wait! They're not annoying or intrusive because I've come through for you again! ;)

See, we set up useful links such as weather, Nightscape Creations, and others, along with a search engine box, in the upper right corner of your desktop. These are all set to fade into the background. They're readable when you move your mouse over them, but fade away into the background image when you don't. It looks great.

Please read this before downloading! Now installation is easy, but it's more than just clicking install so please read this paragraph before starting. Just click the button above for your resolution. If you want it to update more often than once a day, click the customize button on the window that comes up. However, our server side part will only update once an hour, so don't set yours to any more than that. If you do not have a customize button, don't worry, your versions of IE and Windows just don't support that. No big deal. Within seconds you'll see the image appear on your desktop, off center to the right. When you move your mouse over it, you get a bar along the top that you can use to drag it into place on your desktop (just like a normal window). That's all there is too it!

To uninstall or hide it, just open your start menu and go to settings-control panel. From there, double click on 'display' and then click on the 'web' tab. You can delete or hide it from there.

What's the catch? Well, a few small things that may or may not matter to you. First, your desktop will now be a webpage, so it may react a little differently than normal. Mostly the changes will be small and you can always remove this if they bother you. Second, when fading everything in and out, your processor usage will jump for 2-3 seconds during the fade. Can't see why that would matter much, but I thought I would mention it. Last, you have to follow the instructions above and place it correctly on your desktop, or the fading won't happen at the right time. Those are the only downsides. Might as well give it a shot and, if these little things bother you, you can always remove the channel later. Enjoy! :)
