Nightscape Creations Software 5-in-1 Browser Instructions

Let's start at the top left. You see a list of 5 text boxes with URLs in them. On either side of each text box is a button. The text boxes act as your address bar, one for each browser. To the left, you see a button indicating the status of each. The textbox that has a button next to it labelled "visible" is the one that you are using right now. To make another one visible, simply click on the "Hidden" button next to it.

Next you see 5 buttons labelled "go". These buttons basically tell the browser to go to whatever URL is in the address bar. Once one of your 5 browsers starts downloading a page, you can hide it and it will continue to do it's work. Just watch the asterisk next to the go button. A red asterisk means it is looking for the page, yellow means it is downloading the page, and cyan (or invisible) means that it thinks it has the whole thing.

Now all of the buttons. The first row are various functions that have details listed below. The second row is also detailed below, but all are standard navigational buttons that affect only the browser that you currently have active. To give you the easiest way possible to read these I'm going to drop them into a table below. Just look up the button you want details on and it's description should be right next to it for you:

Home This button takes the currently active browser to it's home page. These home pages are not linked to IE and can be set individually using the "set homepage" button.
Set Homepage This sets the current page to be the active browser's home page. A home page is the page that loads up in that browser during startup. It is also the page that the browser goes to when you press the "home" button.
Favorites This brings up a new window listing your favorites. At the top you see a dropdown list. This is a list of groups (like folders) that you use to organize your favorites. Selecting each group refreshes the list taking the bulk of this new window. Double click anything in the list to visit that site in the currently active browser. To add something to your favorites, use the "add to favorites" button.
Refresh All This is identical to the refresh button listed below, but refreshes all 5 browsers.
Add to Favorites This adds the current page in the currently ative browser to your favorites. When you press this button, you have the chance to decide which group to add this in to, and to rename it if you like. You can also add a new group here if you like.
Back Standard IE navigational button. Returns the currently active browser to the page you were at previously in this browser.
Forward Standard IE navigational button. Returns the currently active browser to the next page you were at before hitting 'back' in this browser.
Refresh Standard IE navigational button. Requests an up-to-date version of the current page from the server. Also resends any form data.
Stop Standard IE navigational button. Stops the current page from downloading.
